The YouthBuild USA + Penn Foster Partnership

YouthBuild USA and Penn Foster partnered to offer educational packages tailored specifically to the needs of YouthBuild programs and learners, while also delivering cost savings and dedicated support. To inform the development of these packages, YouthBuild USA held focus groups with local programs to research how they were utilizing existing Penn Foster resources and to understand their educational needs. These Penn Foster offerings are now available to all YouthBuild programs, including DOL grantees and YouthBuild USA affiliates.

A Variety of Partnership Models to Fit Your Needs

Individual

Individual YouthBuild locations partnered with Penn Foster to meet specific academic and training needs. Your YouthBuild location may be be a DOL grantee or a non-grantee.

Collaborative

Between two or more local YouthBuild programs in a region or state. By pooling financial resources, you can maximize Penn Foster partnership offerings.

Coalition

Statewide partnership between YouthBuild and Penn Foster. All affiliate networks have access to relevant offerings such as secondary, vocational, and college programs.

Before our YouthBuild program started using Penn Foster, 40% of students were able to earn their GED. Since partnering with Penn Foster, we have seen a significant increase in diploma attainment to 80%.”

High School + English Language Training

Become proficient in English while earning your High School Diploma

Penn Foster's High School + English Language Training program is designed to teach English and improve English-speaking proficiency online before learners proceed to Penn Foster's accredited high school diploma curriculum. Through a partnership with EnGen, a virtual language upskilling platform, learners will have personalized English language training as part of their standard coursework.
