Penn Foster does accept credits from previous high schools. To transfer credits, an official, sealed transcript must be sent from the student’s previous school for evaluation. Credits from courses that are equivalent to the Penn Foster curriculum and that come from regionally accredited high schools will be considered for transfer. Yes! Penn Foster's online diploma program is open to any student 13 years or older who has completed the 8th grade. As an adult learner, you can finish the credits you need or even complete the entire high school program from home around your work schedule.

After enrollment you will receive an email with instructions to create your login credentials to access your account. You will be contacted by a Penn Foster Student Success Coach to help get you started with the program.
There are no physical classrooms since Penn Foster is an online and self-paced school. Study materials and assessments are accessed on the online student portal. There you will also find additional support material, however, if you need to contact your instructors for academic help or have other questions, you can contact them directly.
Instructors are available over the phone (1-888-427-1000) Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm, Eastern Time. They are also available through email by clicking on the "Contact Us" button in the Student Portal and typically respond within 24 hours. You can even contact instructors on the Penn Foster Community by sending a message or joining a discussion group.
